Lyric:
THE PUZZLE May 11/84 Karl Rigelhof

It doesn't make any sense
Can you elaborate on your intents
The implications become immense
If you can only understand the relevance

They suffer in their ignorance
The knowledge sleeps untouched, dormant
But to still the ris(ing)/e (of) (the) malcontent(s)/ce
The word is taught under false pretense

The static in the air feels tense
Charged with the pain of their torment(s)
(It is) taken from them without (their) consent
(To) aggravate(s)/ing the swelling incompetence

To heal our sorrows we must repent
To ask forgiveness with our souls bent
To pray when the time requires penance
To grasp the meaning of what the words meant
This travesty has become (more than) a nuisance
In time the missing pieces will lend their prevalence
To solve the mystery of the puzzle

They attempt consolidation as a last defense
The adoration of their purpose is intense
Towards eradication of the problem they went
To reach completion before denial is sent
They have filled their minds to their hearts content

After the burning of the sacrificial incense
Comes the tearing down of the blessed fence
Then the striking of the altar tents
We rejoice as we hang the suspected agents

For all the effort we have spent
The elders with(in) their wisdom have lent
Experiences that aren't worth a dead cent
We need to make a deeper dent
Into the profits contrived when the puzzle is solved
That is our commitment
